Why we do this
In the last few years, we have both lost grandparents we loved. Some of their stories we filmed before they passed, and our families are so grateful to hear those voices again and pass their stories down. Others passed before we had the chance, and now we carry their stories by heart.
That is why we started Legacy Film Stories. We want every family we work with to keep what we kept: their voices, their laughs, the way they tell a story.
How many times have you told your kids about grandparents they never met, and wished they could hear their sense of humor or the sound of their voice? That is the film we make.
A Little About Who We Are
We are Nick and Hallie. From our very first date to now six years of marriage, we have documented our own story and hundreds of others.
After filming weddings for over ten years, we learned that we really love family legacy and storytelling. In this process, we find so much joy in sitting with your parents and grandparents, listening, and filming the stories that shaped them, in their own words.
We are based in Charleston, South Carolina, and we travel to you.
